"Trinity reinforces Christian values taught at home and church. Trinity also stresses the importance of the family unit that includes grandparents as being a vital part of this unit."

In the spring of 1985, a small group of Christians were led to meet together to consider the possibility of starting a Christian school in Jackson, Tennessee. As the group began to explore all the issues involved in beginning a new school, they were advised by consultants, church leaders, and others to abandon their vision for a school. They were told that overcoming all the obstacles with such a small number of people would be impossible! But the group continued to pray and seek God’s will, and He gave them the strength and determination to persevere. They prayed and established by-laws which would determine the course of the school for beginning stages and future years. Much prayer and thought went into setting up the policies which would insure that Trinity Christian Academy remain committed to providing an excellent education through the use of textbooks that would support a Christian world view and through a staff of committed Christian teachers.
Donations of time and money were given by those who were led of the Lord. A school building with five acres of property, school desks, teachers’ desks, office equipment, and playground equipment were all provided. In September of 1986, Trinity Christian Academy opened debt free with an enrollment of approximately fifty students in grades K thru 7.
The heartfelt gratitude for everything the Lord had done made that first school year a very special one for the students, faculty, and parents. A Scripture was posted on the bulletin board in the front entrance during the renovation process. It served as a reminder to all that entered the school that the Lord established Trinity Christian Academy. The Scripture is Psalm 136:1-4: "This is the Lord’s doing, it is marvelous in our eyes! O give thanks unto the Lord for He is Good... O give thanks unto the Lord of Lords...To him who alone doeth great wonders!"
The Lord’s faithfulness has continued. In 1998, Trinity Christian Academy’s Board felt our present location was nearing full capacity. To prevent turning away students, demographic research was done, and in 1999 the Lord led us to purchase seventy-two acres on Windy City Road in North Jackson. Building a Legacy Capital Campaign sought completion of Phase I of our master plan, an elementary facility constructed for students in January 2003. In the fall of 2004, Trinity began the Stepping Forward in Faith Campaign which raised funds to construct our middle and high school facilities. By God’s blessing, we moved into our new facilities in the summer of 2007. From the beginning enrollment of fifty in 1986, we are now serving over 800 students. Over the next two years, enrollment is projected to increase to over nine hundred students!
