Training Champions Begins Here

Trinity Christian Academy offers an environment for your young champion to be nurtured and grow from 6 weeks old all the way to high school. All classrooms are conveniently located on one campus. Starting with the toddler class, your child will not be in daycare, but will be learning. Trinity is focused on the physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual development of each child.

Early Education Programs

Trinity Christian Academy is excited to announce our all new Infant/Toddler program will be opening August 2018. The Baby Lions program provides a nurturing environment specifically focused on meeting the individual needs of each child as they progress toward their developmental milestones. As they adapt to the world around them, our teachers form a close partnership with parents by communicating through daily reports and face to face interaction each morning and afternoon. From rocking and singing to reading and interactive media, each child is loved and cared for while gaining exposure to an enriched learning environment that prepares them for the years ahead.

Each classroom is equipped with a dedicated, lead teacher who is required to undergo CPR/First Aid certification and continuing education throughout the year. Lead teachers, under the direction of the Early Education Director, will also be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Families are given the option to choose between 10 or 12 month enrollment and can withdraw at any point during the year as long as 30 day notice has been given.

Little Lions (M-F, MWF, or TTh)

Classes for Age 2 and 3 by August 15th

Weekly themes develop a firm Christian foundation as children participate in activities to develop language skills, fine motor control, social skills, and a love for learning. Each class has a certified teacher and a full-time assistant who provide developmentally appropriate instruction and education-based play, as well as, individual, small group, and whole class activities. The classroom is divided into bright and interesting learning centers; plus, each week, students go to Library, Art, P.E., Music and iPad computer classes.

The curriculum offers exposure to academic readiness skills in reading, writing, and math. In addition, activities in Bible, science and social studies provide students the opportunity to explore and learn. Each child’s curiosity, creativity, and self-esteem are enhanced in the loving atmosphere of our program.

Pre-Kindergarten: MWF or M-F

Age 4 by August 15th (1:13)

Future success in reading is encouraged with a literacy-rich environment and research based pre-reading instruction. In PreK our goal is to teach children letter identification and letter sounds. As they progress many students will be ready to sound out words and they will then be exposed to patterns and word families. This approach helps develop a strong foundation for life-long learning. Children are also involved in a variety of activities including Bible, hands-on math, and fine motor development, as well as organized and free play in interactive learning centers, which appeal to different learning styles. Children learn to respect God, to cooperate with others, and show consideration while learning to appreciate their unique God-given qualities. Students attend daily recess and weekly classes in Art, Music, Library, Computer (IPads), and P.E.

God says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.  We have designed our PreK program to “train” and equip our students with a Godly character and love for learning that will last a lifetime!
