Little lions should be 2 by September 30th of the school year for which they are applying.
PreSchool students should be 3 by September 30th of the school year for which they are applying.
Prospective students must be 4 years old by September 30th of the school year for which they are applying. The “Tennessee Pre-K Child Health Record” form and a copy of the child’s birth certificate are required. A four-year old PreK Readiness Assessment will be given to all applicants to determine eligibility for entrace.
Prospective students must be 5 years old by September 30th of the school year for which they have applied. A “Kindergarten Readiness Test” will be given to determine eligibility for entrance. The “Tennessee Child Health Record” form and a copy of the child’s birth certificate are required.
Prospective students will be tested. A stanine score of 5 in reading and math are required for academic acceptance.

Any new student accepted in Little Lions through 12th grade will be on academic and social probation for the first 9 week quarter. Academically, the student must maintain a passing grade in all academic areas. Socially, their behavior must be in compliance with the guidelines listed in the Student/Parent Handbook.
