TCA is thrilled to announce the addition of Bill Williamson as TCA’s Director of Development. Bill completed his B.S. in Business Administration from Lambuth University (‘74). He began his career at Coca-Cola Bottling Works of Jackson, serving as Vice-President of Sales. He went on to serve as an Administrator with Jackson Surgical Associates for 27 years, retiring this past May.
While leading in Development at TCA, Bill will continue to serve as bi-vocational Pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship as he has for the last 15 years.
Bill is no stranger to Trinity. He served faithfully on TCA’s Board of Trustees from 1990-2000, including a term as Board Chair beginning in 1994. Most recently, Bill served this past year on TCA’s Board of Trustees as a Legacy member, stepping down to take on this new role in Development:
“I am excited to be involved with Development at Trinity Christian Academy and to help support its mission in this new way. I have two sons who graduated from Trinity and now have three grandchildren attending. The future is bright and exciting because our God is in control and I desire to do all that I can to make sure my grandchildren’s children have the same opportunities they have received.”
As Bill begins this new role this month, he will consult with Bowden Miller Shepherding Group (BMSG) as they provide leadership alongside the Board for this year’s Heritage Fund, TCA’s annual giving program. Bill will oversee fundraising and work to cultivate community relationships to promote the Christ-centered mission of the school. He will be assisted by Franky Taylor in TCA’s Development Office.
Bill and his wife Carol live on a farm in the Huntersville community just outside of Jackson. They have two sons, Andy (TCA ‘98) and wife Melissa who have three children, twin girls Shelby-Kate & Bonnie (8th grade), and son Reed (5th grade). Their youngest son Brian (TCA ‘01) and his wife Hope live in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
