Our Mission

God has called Trinity Christian Academy to assist Christian families and their churches in providing a Biblically-directed, academically excellent education that equips students to be Godly leaders and servants in their homes, churches, and communities.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to train young champions for Christ who are equipped to serve the Lord by being prepared spiritually, academically and physically.

What We Believe

Trinity Christian Academy was formed in 1985 as a covenant Christian school in Jackson, Tennessee. Parents who choose TCA for their children are assisted in a covenant partnership of Christian discipleship and education along with their local Bible-believing church. TCA is a nondenominational school not connected to a particular church or denomination.

The basis of Trinity Christian Academy is the infallible Word of God, written, known as the Scriptures of the Old and the New Testaments, as they are interpreted in the historic, evangelical confessions of Christian faith. In accordance with these confessions, we hold unreservedly to the sovereignty of God as taught in Scripture and as specifically revealed in the Lordship of Jesus Christ over the world and thus over every department of human activity, thereby recognizing these Scriptures as the supreme and final standard for life. Trinity Christian Academy is not a church nor is it subject to any ecclesiastical organization but works with and through such bodies to aid and benefit both this school and such church bodies with which it may be associated. Therefore, the school is committed to and subscribes to the following articles of belief:

  • We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings and accurately maintained over the ages by God’s Spirit. They are the only supreme and final authority for the rule of faith and life for all men.

  • We believe in only one living and true God, who externally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, having one substance, power and eternity, perfectly sovereign, holy and unchangeable and infinite in being.

  • We believe that man and the universe were created by an immediate and direct act of God. Also, we believe that man was created in the image of God, but he chose to sin and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is eternal separation from God and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and become sinners in thought, word and deed. All human beings stand accountable before and to God for their sins.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born to the Virgin Mary, and is truly God and truly man, yet one Christ, the only mediator between God and man. Also, we believe that He was crucified on a cross, died and was buried and resurrected by God. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest, King and Savior of His Church.

  • We believe that the Lord Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in and trust in Him alone are justified on the grounds of His shed blood and perfect, righteous life. We further believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again by the Holy Spirit, and thereby, become children of God and are being sanctified by God.

  • We believe that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will personally return and set up His Kingdom wherein He will rule and reign in righteousness.

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just to eternal blessedness according to the pattern of Christ’s own glorious body and the bodily resurrection of the unjust to eternal punishment.

TCA Bylaws

Our History

  • 1985

    A small group of Christians were led to meet together to consider the possibility of starting a Christian school in Jackson, Tennessee. They prayed and established by-laws which would determine the course of the school for beginning stages and future years. Donations of time and money were given by those who were led by the Lord to provide a school building with five acres of property on Old Denmark Road.

  • 1986

    Trinity Christian Academy opened debt free with an enrollment of approximately fifty students in grades K – 7th.

  • 1996

    Trinity Christian Academy’s Board recognized that our present location was nearing full capacity and started prayerfully considering a new campus location.

  • 1999

    In order to serve more families, demographic research was done and the Lord led us to purchase seventy-two acres on Windy City Road in North Jackson.

  • 2003

    Elementary campus moved to the new location on Windy City Road.

  • 2005

    Varsity football stadium was completed at the Windy City Road campus.

  • 2007

    Upper school expansion was completed and opened for the school year, reuniting the entire school once again.

  • 2009

    Present facilities continue to advance with an addition to our Elementary wing, construction of a state-of-the-art Field House, and athletic field expansions, including the addition of six tennis courts.

  • 2010

    Trinity opens all new Little Lions program for two and three year olds.

  • 2012

    Trinity opened an all new Field House complete with locker rooms, coaches offices, and state-of-the-art workout facilities for all student athletes to utilize.

  • 2015

    TCA expanded its athletic facilities with the construction of on-campus tennis courts, providing a permanent home for the growing tennis program.

  • 2018

    Trinity opens all new Baby Lions program for infants and toddlers, allowing students to attend TCA from ages 6 weeks all the way through their senior year of High School.

  • 2022

    Lighting was installed at the TCA Tennis Complex, allowing for expanded practice, competition, and community use.

  • 2023

    TCA launched Vision 2026, a bold three-year initiative focused on facility improvements, financial assistance, and strengthening the school's long-term mission as it prepared to celebrate its 40th anniversary. During the same year, a state-of-the-art LED video board was installed at the football field, enhancing the game-day experience for players, fans, and the entire TCA community.

  • 2024

    The campus was expanded with four new classroom spaces, including a dedicated band room that also serves as a tornado shelter, strengthening both academic programming and student safety. ADA-compliant restroom facilities were also added to the softball complex, improving accessibility and convenience for students, families, and guests.

  • 2026

    TCA completed a new ADA-compliant soccer and tennis locker room complex featuring modern locker rooms, changing areas, concessions, storage, and accessible restrooms, enhancing the experience for student-athletes, families, and visitors.

Discipleship Driven

God has called Trinity Christian Academy to assist Christian families and their churches in providing a Biblically-directed, academically excellent education that equips students to be Godly leaders and servants in their homes, churches, and communities. We are a discipleship school, driven to equip students by partnering with parents and the local church in discipling them in all avenues toward a lifelong love of God and pursuit of Him.

This strong focus on the development of spiritual life and discipleship, starts at a young age. We don’t want to only teach students about Christ — we want to guide students to be dedicated followers of Christ, equipped with a Biblical worldview.

We achieve this in three ways:

  3. Monthly Discipleship Groups - Trinity Tribes

The TCA Graduate

The Academic Seal of TCA has at its center the words “Discipleship, Leadership, Service, and Community.” These words come from the Mission Statement and Foundational Doctrines of TCA and represent what makes Trinity, Trinity. These words also define the marks of the TCA graduate. We are a discipleship school, partnering with Christian families and their churches in this great work. We have a focus on developing leaders of the next generation to be used for God’s glory as they pursue the path and calling He has for them. TCA instills the value of service, with a commitment to equipping students to lead through a humble heart of ministry as we partner with local and international mission partners. TCA also strives to build a community that is outward focused, noticing the needs of those God has placed around us. This leads us to value having a safe, vibrant community where all can belong while maintaining a love for our local community and desire to see it thrive. Trinity Christian Academy’s aim is to assist Christian families and their churches in providing a Biblically-directed, academically excellent education that equips students to be Godly leaders and servants in their homes, churches, and communities. We have been doing this since 1986 and will continue in this pursuit for years and years to come! We now have alumni all over the globe serving as doctors, attorneys, political leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, parents, pastors, missionaries, and more.
