Theatre
Trinity Christian Academy has a long standing reputation for producing excellent theatre productions. Our goal in pursuing excellence is always to work diligently, honoring and giving the glory to our Creator while fulfilling our mission. From our Lower School Fall Musical to our Spring Upper School Musical and everything in between, we strive to equip students to honor God with confidence on and off the stage. Our staff of Christian educators give their all to equip our students with a Biblical worldview. With recent year productions like Disney’s Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Annie, and more, it is not uncommon for our students to not only learn invaluable skills in performance, but to also learn and discuss the worldviews of characters in each production. At TCA, many students who participate in theatre are also scholars, athletes, involved in their local churches, and involved on campus in a plethora of other avenues. Just as God uses all things to shape us into His likeness, we know that He will use all things to shape the students of TCA.
Summer Camp
Welcome to Camp Runamok, the wackiest summer camp you could experience. This musical has everything you love and fear about the summer camp experience, from morning routine and bugs on parade to camp skits and spooky campfire stories. The campers learn to put away their technology and search within themselves to find out who they really are, all while surviving the highs and lows of Summer Camp!
Performance Date: October 2nd 6:00 pm, Lower School Gym
All registered students will be members of the ensemble!
Roles/lines/solos/duets will be assigned after a simple audition during rehearsal on August 18TH AND 19TH for students interested in those opportunities.
Audition Packets are due to Mrs. Heather on August 11th at the first rehearsal.
Financial Responsibility: $75 Production Fee (Checks payable to TCA Fine Arts, Memo: Summer Camp)

Camp Information
Our Broadway Camp is where the magic begins! This camp is vital for building team chemistry, understanding the story arc, diving into character development, auditions, and beginning to learn the core choreography and music.
Dates: July 20th – July 24th

A Note on the Rehearsal Calendar
We know how busy family schedules can get, and we want to thank you in advance for your patience! We are currently finalizing our master rehearsal calendar.
Because we love supporting well-rounded students, we are actively coordinating with our Fall Sports Coaches and our new Athletic Director to minimize scheduling conflicts as much as possible. Our goal is to ensure our students can thrive both on the stage and on the field! We will share the finalized calendar the moment it is ready.

Theatre Courses are available for students in grades 6-12.
This year, our Theatre Department will present a Fall Junior Musical for grades 6th - 9th, and a Spring Musical for grades 9th - 12th.
Additionally, theatre students serve as assistants for Lower School musical productions. -
